What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. This site also uses localStorage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. That memory is not a cookie, but it serves the same kind of purpose, so it is listed here.
Types we use
Essential storage remembers your Accept or Reject choice so the banner does not return on every page. Analytics storage is used only if you Accept, to count which pages are opened. Rejecting analytics does not block briefings pages, the enquiry form, or any other function of the site.
Cookie and storage table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| contenttrailcore_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject so the banner can stay hidden | Until you clear site data | Contenttrailcore (first party, localStorage) |
| contenttrailcore_pages | Optional page-count note if you Accept; not set if you Reject | Until you clear site data | Contenttrailcore (first party, localStorage) |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use the banner on first visit. You can also clear stored data for contenttrailcore.click in your browser settings. Blocking all storage may cause the banner to appear again; it will not stop you reading the site or sending an enquiry.
Third-party cookies
Pages load type from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address when the font files are requested. We do not set marketing cookies for advertising networks.
Impact of disabling
Disabling optional analytics only stops the optional page-count note. Essential consent memory, if cleared, simply shows the banner again. Figures, journal notes, and the enquiry form keep working.
